Thee JAE Is a Star In The Making

You may or may not be aware, but the DMV music scene has curated quite the collection of young artists that are bringing a much needed spotlight to the DC Area music scene. With that said, one of the artists that is buzzing from the area is an up and coming artist by the name of Thee JAE. Thee JAE is a super versatile artist that is able to bend his artistry at will when the production calls for it. 

His ability to switch flows, use melodies and provide catchy quotable lyrics are just a taste of what JAE is able to do on the mic. But to understand Thee JAE’s story, you really have to pay attention to the passion and resiliency that he shows in his music. On the surface, his lyrics may seem flashy, but his words cut much deeper if you knew his past struggles with homelessness and incarceration. The adversity that he’s seen so far hasn’t broken him...it has only made his desire to want it all that much stronger!

In August of 2020, JAE dropped his ‘TRAP JAE VOL. II’ project on all streaming platforms which features hard-hitting production and a sleuth of well-known artists such as: Nessly, Jay Gwuapo, Valeé, BIGBABYGUCCI, and Bobbynice. Thee JAE is quickly showing why he is poised to make a swift transition from the underground to the mainstream landscape.
