Chelsea Smith grew up immersed in the arts. At 12, she started writing songs and posting them on YouTube. When she was 15, she played Sharpay in High School Musical as her first professional theater gig, at 16, she started her own photography business called UrbanBay, which she still operates today. Are you noticing a trend just yet? There are many conclusions that can be derived from this timeline of life events - however our biggest one is that Chelsea is extremely determined! To expound further, her photography business has reached significant heights even through the pandemic (which is more than most businesses can say respectfully speaking).

By the time Chelsea turned 29, she decided it was time for a fresh start at life in a city that she had always admired from a far - Nashville, Tennessee. So she packed her bags and drove 38 hours from her hometown in Portland, Oregon. We ask again, are you noticing a trend? Her determination compelled her to go after the reality that she so desperately desired. Everything from the music, food and southern culture were the key factors that attracted her to ultimately make the move.

Chelsea has already started performing at writer's rounds across the Nashville area and has recently started Nash Bash Collective, an exclusive community for driven up-and-coming singer-songwriters. Most recently, she started writing a sales book, on pitching, cold calling, entrepreneurship, and business.

In addition to her thriving photography business, Chelsea has recently started to release music and is quickly finding her signature sound as a country musician. Chelsea has plans to one day settle down and have children when the time is right, but in the meantime her passions and purpose as a creator remain top priority.

We can't wait to see what's next for her!
