In an era that rewards melody-driven artists in Hip-Hop, Snipabr is sure to impress. His sound is refreshing, diverse and extremely raw. Quite frankly, he is among some of the most capable artists to come out of the DMV in a while. But to understand his artistry, you must take a look at his origins and upbringing. He was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in Virginia - which is where at the age of 13, Snipa started recording music and discovering his interests and talents of making music. Fast forward to present day and you can find him collaborating with tons of bubbling artists. For example, take a listen to a song he featured on with Nodis, called “Long Day” - which has accumulated over 4 million streams across all streaming platforms.

Snipabr has been putting in a lot of work during the pandemic - most notability he recently released a project in June, 2020 called Consequences. This project includes features from Austin Skinner, Afterprty, ARAZ, & Grammar. These artists are some of the biggest names to come out of the upcoming Virginia scene. Some of Snipa’s biggest influence’s range from early 2000 R&B artists & also early 90’s rap. You can hear the influence in his music, yet he still has his own modern spin on it.
